Virginia Sweet Gum Turkey Friction Call

This 4" beauty was created by happenstance.  A large beam of severely weathered wood entered the shop as we thought it was Walnut.  We soon realized we were in for a treat!  This local Virginia Sweet Gum produced one of the most beautiful batches of friction calls to date!  No only does it look amazing, the mellow but crisp tone of the slate over a glass soundboard is unmatched!  It will sweet talk ol' Tom right off the limb, and into your lap.  This call was a shop favorite this past Spring.  Paired with a Dymondwood laminate striker.  This was a small batch run...only a few left!
